All of our wax-printings are hand-made by CSW students with natural indigo dye, environmental-friendly cloth and beeswax. Each product is unique due to the different artists, patterns and time of dyeing. The entire process can last to many days but we advocates the idea of pure handmade and sustainability.

Wax-printing
Guizhou wax-printing, a traditional art form originated from Guizhou, China has been one of their main traditions for 2 thousands years. Wax-printers use beeswax to draw different patterns on cloths and use natural indigo dye to dye them blue.
Wax-printers in Guizhou have passed this intangible heritage for many years that it has become their generational artistic “wealth”
